Dani Clark, LISW

Dani is a compassionate, patient, and approachable clinician. With a warm and empathetic approach, Dani creates a safe and nonjudgmental space for her clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She believes in the inherent strength and resilience of every individual and works collaboratively with her clients to identify and achieve their therapeutic goals.  

 Dani has experience in treating a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, depression, borderline personality disorder, trauma-related disorders, relationship issues, and stress management. She integrates evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and psychodynamic therapy to tailor treatment plans to each client's unique needs and preferences.  

 As a therapist, Dani is dedicated to helping her clients navigate life's challenges, heal from past wounds, and cultivate greater self-awareness and resilience. With guidance and support, Dani believes clients can embark on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth, leading to a more fulfilling and meaningful life.  

 Dani completed her undergraduate degree in social work at Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, IA. From there, she went to obtain her master's in social work at University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. While at UNI, Dani specialized in trauma informed care practices which have helped shape her practice.  

 During her free time, Dani enjoys spending time outside with friends and family, going to farmer’s markets, and traveling.
